Joined the Navy in 1989 as BU, with "A" school in Gulfport, MS;
then on to 11 years with the SEABEES. I'm still in the Navy but now fly
H60 helicopters. These days I really miss being with such a proud group of
men and women. Anybody from NMCB 4 out there?

Anyone know the whereabouts of Tony Vasquez, from Houston, TX? We served
together in Gitmo during the Cuban Missile Crisis in October '62, and also
played on the MCB-7 Base Champion Baseball team. We often competed for
shortstop on that team, and were both Construction Electricians. Hope
you're out there Tony. Give me a shout on this website.

We also some times inadvertently erase some postings and for that I
apologize. It does get a little hectic when trying to delete three pages of
spam with a couple of real entries in the middle. Hope you all stick with
us as there is plenty of info and comments for all to find. We this site
connects a couple of "old budddies' or "young friends" it is
worth our effort to try to keep it cleaned up.

Did you know that the Harley-Davison Motor Cycle Company Inc. donated
$1,000,000.00 to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans organization. We as a
Veterans Group need to thank every Harley owner we see for being an Amerian
and supporting us. I personally prefer a real motor cycle an
"Indian" (mine was a 1935 Indian Chief)but don't tell a Harley
owner that. We need to get the word out and thank the Harley Davison
Company. I have never heard of a major American Corporation donating that
kind of money in support of any veterans group. The story was in a special
edition of the DAV magazine last month. So say THANK YOU to Harley Davison
and the owners too. -- Just a Sleeze-bag Seabee - EO1 - Besides Your a
bunch of slug-baits and look at your boots - they look like your polished
them with a candy bar. Put that in your ditty bag.

Looking for anyone who went through Builders A School in Davisville from
April to June 1968.
Especially Mike 'Smitty' Smith from Alabama. Mike ended up going to the
Antartic.
Also anyone attached to the 21st NCR from about summer of '68 to fall of
1969.
Chief John Daly......you still out there?
Had the best summer ever in 1968 in Davisville. All I had to worry about
was the seabag on my index.html.
